                  Interventional Radiology

These image-guided, minimally invasive procedures lead to less pain and faster recovery

Interventional Radiology is the use of medical image guidance, such as Computed tomography (CT) scans, Ultrasounds, and X-rays, to perform minimally invasive treatment procedures. Many conditions that once required traditional surgery can now be treated with interventional radiology, thanks to advances in technology and medical knowledge. Our experienced team performs thousands of Interventional Radiology procedures each year.

What are the benefits of interventional radiology?

Interventional Radiology has several advantages over traditional surgical procedures. Some of these advantages include:

                  • Faster recovery after the procedure
                  • Less exposure to anesthesia
                  • Less risk for complications
                  • Reduced pain after the procedure
                  • Smaller incisions
